Conference Comfort & Support
We’re excited to share that a certified support dog from Saffron Sexual Assault Centre (Sherwood Park) will be onsite both days to offer comfort and support. She’ll be attending concurrent sessions with her handler and is available to visit with attendees who’d like a bit of extra love. If you have allergies or prefer not to interact, rest assured she’s well-trained and will remain with her handler at all times.

Trained by the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, I have been working as Saffron's Facility Support Dog since 2022. I love to meet new clients and lay on their laps while they are in our counselling or police support programs. I also love to meet new people at outreach events. When I am not supporting clients, I love to snack on yummy treats and sleep on my back. I am excited that I get to see both my work mom (Kiara) and home mom (Debbie) at Saffron every day.
