The Diverse Voices Family Violence Conference is Western Canada’s largest annual in-person conference focused on family, domestic, and sexual violence. The event brings together service providers, frontline workers, researchers, community leaders, and advocates to share best practices and real-world strategies that strengthen how we respond to and prevent violence.

The 2026 Diverse Voices Conference will take place October 28–30, 2026, at the Fantasyland Hotel – West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton. For the first time, the conference will expand to a three-day event, offering even more opportunities for learning, collaboration, and connection through keynote presentations, concurrent sessions, and networking with professionals from across Western Canada.

Join us for the 26th Annual Diverse Voices Conference, the largest in-person conference in Western Canada dedicated to addressing family, domestic, and sexual violence. For more than a quarter century, this event has brought together frontline workers, researchers, policymakers, and advocates to share knowledge, best practices, and emerging research that help better support individuals and families impacted by violence.

The Diverse Voices 2026 Conference will take place at the Fantasyland Hotel – West Edmonton Mall on Oct. 28-30, 2026. For the first time, the conference will expand to a three-day event, reflecting the continued growth of the Diverse Voices community and the demand for deeper learning and collaboration. We are excited about this expansion, which will allow us to offer greater opportunities for networking, professional development, and meaningful dialogue.
