Pamela Cross

Biography

Pamela Cross is a feminist lawyer; a well-known and respected expert on violence against women and the law for her work as a researcher, writer, educator and trainer, working with women’s equality and violence against women organizations across Ontario, including the Canadian Council of Muslim Women, the Barbra Schlifer Clinic and NAWL.

In her role as Luke’s Place Legal Director, she leads research, training and advocacy.

She is involved with educational initiatives on violence against women for Canadian judges and lawyers and has developed violence against women curriculum for law schools.

She has received the Laura Legge Award from the Law Society of Ontario the Attorney General’s Victim Services Award of Distinction the YWCA Toronto Women of Distinction.
