Sarah Yercich is a doctoral candidate and sessional instructor in the School of Criminology at Simon Fraser University, and holds an M.Sc. in Applied Criminology and B.Sc. in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University (NAU). Sarah is a research associate with the FREDA Centre for Research on Violence Against Women and Children, and works on the Immigrant and Refugee Populations Research Team for the Canadian Domestic Homicide Prevention Initiative for Vulnerable Populations. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, Sarah worked as Adjunct Faculty at NAU and as a Senior Information Specialist with the National Domestic Violence Fatality Review Initiative.
